Tomas Esteban Valderiz is een complexe, expressieve wijn. Rijp fruit, een vleugje kruiden, prachtige tannines en een lange volle evenwichtige afdronk.
Goede combinatie met rood vlees, wild, boeuf bourguignon, paté, jamón en harde kazen.
Goed op dronk, maar kan zich tot 2025 nog verder ontwikkelen.
De optimale drinktemperatuur voor Tomas Esteban Valderiz  is 16°C.

"After they skipped the 2013 vintage, the top of the range comes back with an impressive 2014 Valderiz Tomas Esteban, an homage to the winery's founder. It's produced with the grapes from an old family vineyard planted with Tempranillo and some 5% white Albillo. This has power, energy and finesse along with abundant, chalky and fine-grained tannins and all the ingredients and balance for a positive development in bottle. 4,000 bottles produced."
