Gerijpt op Frans en Amerikaans eiken. 
Montecillo reserva is een goed gestructureerde 100% Tempranillo wijn. Rijp fruit, een vleugje kruiden, leer, houttonen, balsamico, subtiele tannines en een lange afdronk.
Uitstekende combinatie met rood vlees, wild, boeuf bourguignon, paté, jamón en harde kazen.
De optimale drinktemperatuur voor Montecillo reserva is 16°C.

"With more complexity and development, the 2012 Reserva was more balsamic and marked by its élevage with notes of incense and cigar ash. The palate showed some grainy tannins and lively acidity. 500,000 bottles produced."
