Luis Canas crianza is een goed toegankelijke rode wijn. Rijp fruit, een vleugje kruiden, hout tonen, "roasted tones", rijpe tannines en een aangename afdronk.
Uitstekende combinatie met rundvlees, lam, stoofschotels, wild, ossehaas, geroosterd/gegrild vlees, jamon en harde kazen.
De optimale drinktemperatuur voor is 16°C.

"The young and creamy 2015 Crianza is mostly Tempranillo with 5% Garnacha, matured in French and American oak barrels for 12 to 14 months. It's ripe with moderate acidity and lactic aromas intermixed with cherries and vanilla. The palate is soft with juicy fruit and lush tannins. A crowd-pleaser and a great vintage. Bodegas Luis Canas owns 90 hectares of vine. This is augmented by 200 hectares under long-term contract, dispersed over 815 parcels. These wines were imbued with wonderful purity and sophistication, managing to tread that fine line between modernism and classicism and embracing the virtues from the two. Moreover, I found that these wines evoked a sense of place, something that not all Rioja wines do. These all comes highly recommended.
