Jorge Ordonez Victoria is een wijn uit Malaga
In 2012, N˚2 Victoria became the first Spanish wine ever served at a Nobel Prize dinner. Jorge Ordóñez Málaga produces its dry and sweet wines from Muscat of Alexandria, the oldest clone worldwide of the Muscat varietal. This is the original Muscat, which was originally cultivated extensively around Alexandria, Egypt.
The Wine Advocate: about 2016
"Their most popular wine, the 2016 Victoria #2, bottled with 10.63% alcohol, 190 grams of sugar and eight grams of acidity, achieves a rare balance between all the components. It matured in contact with the lees for eight months. This is a sweet wine that has more primary character of the grape, with tons of orange blossom and other white flowers. It's made with fresh Moscatel grapes and is not fortified, so it has great balance between sugar and alcohol."
Luis Gutierrez, Dec 2017
