Deze wijn wordt uitsluitend op de markt gebracht in goede wijnjaren.

De Aalto PS (= Pagos Seleccionados en betekent "geselecteerde percelen") is een robuuste en evenwichtige rode wijn met een prachtige houtrijping. De aroma's doen denken aan rijp zwart fruit, mineralen en kruiden. De tannines zijn goed geïntegreerd en de afdronk is indrukwekkende en lang.
Vanaf 2022 op dronk. Kan zich tot tenminste 2033 nog verder ontwikkelen.

The Wine Advocate:

"I saw more ripeness and a higher impact of the élevage in the 2017 PS compared with the regular Aalto. The year was quite challenging, and they had less grapes but more or less from the same villages: La Aguilera, La Horra, Baños... It's spicy, smoky and toasty, very exuberant and showy, ripe and powerful. The wine went through malolactic in oak and matured in new barriques until bottling. There are plenty of tannins and oak-related flavors. This has a very specific style: ripe, powerful and generously oaked. For fans of the style."
