Blecua heeft 20 maanden houtrijping gehad op Frans eiken. 
Blecua is een krachtige rode wijn. Rijp zwart fruit, een vleugje kruiden, hout, droge tannines en een mooie zachte afdronk.
Uitstekende combinatie met rood vlees, wild, boeuf bourguignon, paté, jamón en harde kazen.
Nu op dronk maar kan zich verder ontwikkelen tot 2017.
De optimale drinktemperatuur voor Blecua is 16°C.

"The red blend 2014 Blecua was 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 14% Syrah and 2% Tempranillo from selected grapes and matured in new French oak barrels for eight months, after which time it was blended and put back in those barrels where the blend was kept for a further 12 months. If your guess is that the wine is going to be marked by new oak, you are right. It has a creamy and luxurious profile and texture, with a mixture of Mediterranean notes and green and herbal ones from the Bordeaux varieties. The palate is all about the barrels, and there's little else there, oak flavors and tannins and a bitter twist in the finish. Will this ever be able to start digesting the oak overdose? 3,630 bottles produced. It was bottled in February..".
